Biography
Sepideh Qalandari was an artist and a graduate of Shiraz University, originally from Mahabad. She was arrested in Tehran in November 2022 and reportedly died under torture. Her body was delivered to her family on January 1, 2023. She is remembered as an icon of resistance and a sacrifice for Iran's freedom.
سپیده قلندری هنرمند و فارغالتحصیل دانشگاه هنر شیراز بود که اصالتاً اهل مهاباد بود. او در آبان ۱۴۰۱ در تهران بازداشت شد و بنا به گزارشها، بر اثر شکنجه جان باخت. پیکر او در ۱۱ دیماه ۱۴۰۱ (۱ ژانویه ۲۰۲۳) به خانوادهاش تحویل داده شد. وی به عنوان نماد مقاومت و جانفدای راه آزادی ایران یاد میشود.
